About CforU fashion jewelry

Our Company

CforU fashion jewelry/bijoux de mode was founded in 2008 by designer Carolyne Huber. Currently, you can find a selection of the jewelry at the Bourget Spa and Inn.

In 2009, I partnered with an up and coming local Ottawa photographer; Nick Walker. All photographs on of the jewelry are courtesy of his wonderful artistic abilities.

Also, I believe in being accountable to the communities that foster and support the growth of my business; this is why I strive to give back to my local organizations.

Jewellery

CforU fashion jewelry/bijoux de mode designs fresh, fashionable, affordable jewellery for women who want to add a splash of fashion into their worlds. The jewellery is made from high quality jewellers wire, gold plated and silver plated, lead-free pewter, as well as sterling silver. Although I am always looking for new materials, at the moment glass, acrylic, and Swarovski crystals are incorporated into my designs.

Quality over Quantity

Pieces are made with extreme attention to detail which is why I pride myself in creating quality jewelry. I take extra time to ensure each and every piece of jewelry that is produced is free of faults and damages.

Custom Orders

I am always happy to help with custom orders. Please use the contact form to describe what type of piece of jewellery you would like and any inspiring ideas you would like to be incorporated into the design and I will return your inquiry within 48 hours.

What’s In a Name?

CforU fashion jewelry/bijoux de mode is a play on words. C represents the first letter in my name, Carolyne, and forU represents the creation of pieces designed for my clients in mind. Hence C it’s for you. In 2009, the tag line, adding a splash of fashion into your world was added. This tag line represents the fresh and fashionable nature of my clients.

About the Designer Carolyne Huber; the woman behind the jewelry

I thought I had it all figured out. In 2008, I was delighted to have completed bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Ottawa. I was prepared to take on the world and find myself a corporate world full-time job. Well, let me tell you, that is definitely not what the stars had aligned for me!

Out of the blue my mother became ill. Family values are extremely important to me and so it was a no-brainer; I stopped looking for a job and took care of my mom. Over the course of the next 4 months I became a care giver and quickly realized I needed a way to relieve stress or I would go crazy. That is when I rekindled a long loss love; BEADING!

Today, I consider myself to be a self-taught jewelry designer. As the saying goes, knowledge is power! During the day, when my mom was sleeping, I would take my laptop and through the great power of the internet learned through online tutorials, e-books, and online social beading communities how to create jewellery. I started designing earrings for my mother and sisters and slowly created necklaces, bracelets, and rings; my room became their personal jewelry store!

The more I thought about it, it all starting making SENSE; the light bulb went off! You see, I come from a family of driven entrepreneurs and extremely talented artists. I grew up learning what it takes to start a business; cash, passion, determination, patience, and common sense! I also had the privilege of discovering the art of colour complementation, as my grandmother is one talented painter.

I had nothing to loose and all to gain and so I fused my passion for fashion, my business mind, and my entrepreneurial spirit to create my own fashion jewelry company.

I want to make women feel good. I want them to shine. That’s why I choose to incorporate rich colours in all my jewelry.

Colour brings everything to life and that is what I wanted for my mother and that is what I want for all women; to feel ALIVE!!
